For my hair I love this stuff. I used to buy it at Sports Cuts but then I moved to a town that doesn't have one. I could not find it in town so I found it here.
It takes very little for a extra strength hold. I used to be a salesman for construction materials. The lady at Sports Clips sold me this when I told her I needed to put on a hard hat and take it off and still have my hair look good. I also did not want my hair to look slick and gelled. This product does just that. Looks natural in the hair and holds it in place, i know I have 2 cow licks!
Plus an added bonus which sounds weird..I like the smell to.. lol

Great hair product. The Paul Mitchell Construction Paste has a pomade consistency, with a medium-to-firm hold. I use it sparingly, and enjoy a firm but natural hold all day long. I recommend this product for men with hair of any length who want the type of hold that a pomade offers.

I recommend applying to the hair while it is still damp - in between wet and dry. There is definitely a tightrope between too wet and too dry, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly.

PROS:
Strong hold;
does not create a "gelled" look which I try to avoid (think 90s boyband);
i.e. has a natural consistency when dry;
only requires a small amount (dime sized droplet, or smaller), so it lasts a long time;
scentless.

CONS:
can't think of any at this moment.

I am really impressed with the holding power of this product. Prior to this product I did not use any gel or construction paste but decided to try it out after reading about this and similar products in an article. There is a little bit of a scent to the paste but not overwhelming. After a few minutes, I don't even notice it. The holding power last from morning until evening and is easily washed out. When applying it, I use about a dime size. I may try other products to get some variety and test them out but as far as this product goes, I am impressed and will definitely purchase again.

I have fine hair and I've tried so many hair pastes, texture products, mousse, and waxes over the years. My stylist used this men's product on my hair at the last visit and it works well to get just enough spike for me. Happy to have found it.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
